Manuscript structure

The manuscripts submitted by the authors must comply with the following structure established for each section of the journal. The presentation and references will be adjusted in the same way for all sections with the APA seventh edition citation style:

Presentation (applies to all sections)

  1. Title (English and Spanish)
  2. Author's data, last level of training, institutional affiliation and ORCID code. (Independent document)
  3. Summary (English and Spanish )
  4. Keywords (English, and Spanish) UNESCO https://vocabularies.unesco.org/browser/thesaurus/en/

Empirical Research Article structure required:

  • Introduction
  • In addition, it must include a research project and sponsorship information
  • Results
  • Discussion
  • Conclusions
  • APA seventh edition.

Theoretical or Reflection Article structure required

  • Introduction
  • Development
  • Conclusions
  • References

Literature Review Article structure required

  1. Context and justification
  2. Methodology
  3. Development of the theme and Findings
  4. Conclusions
  5. References

References and bibliographic citations

Citations and references should be consistent with the American Psychological Association (APA) Publications Handbook, seventh edition. All references cited in the texts should appear at the end of the article, not in the footnotes. Please follow the instructions below for appointments and referrals:

Books:

  • Structure: Apellido del autor, primera letra del nombre del autor. (Año). Título del libro. Edición. Lugar: Nombre editorial. Páginas
  • Example: Bernanke, F. (2007). Principios de economía. 3ª ed. Madrid: McGraw-Hill.

Article: 

  • Structure: Author's surname, first letter of the author's name. (Year). Title of the article. Name of the journal; volume (number), pp-pp.
  • Example: Piore, M. (1983) Segmentación del mercado laboral: ¿a qué paradigma pertenece? The American Economic Review, 73 (2); 249-253.

Periodical article with DOI (Digital Object Identifier): 

  • Structure: Author's last name (uppercase), author's name lowercase. (Year). Title of the article. Journal name, volume (number), pp-pp. doi: 00000000.
  • Example:  HERBST-Damm, K. L. y Kulik, J. A. (2005). Apoyo voluntario, estado civil y tiempos de supervivencia de pacientes terminales. Psicología de la Salud, 24, 225-229. DOI: 10.1037/0278-0633.24.2.225 

 

 

Book chapter:

  • Structure: Author's surname, first letter of the author's name. (Year). Chapter title. In: Director/Coordinator/Editor of the book. Title of the book. Edition. Place: Editorial; pp-pp.
  • Example. Ruíz, H. (1999). Economías de Escala, Competencia Imperfecta y Comercio Internacional. En: Salvatore D. (Coord.), Economía Internacional. México: Limusa Wiley; 165-194

Electronic Sources:

  • Structure: Author's surname, first letter of the author's name. (Year). Title of the article. Name of the journal; [electronic journal] [D/M/Y]; volume (number), pp-pp. Retrieved from URL.
